Full Description:
Oversee the Personal Lines Department; developing staff and maintaining efficient and compliant systems and procedures. Meet budgetary requirements and provide an ethical and professional service to meet client/staff expectations.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties

• To contribute towards the achievement of the business plan and assist in the achievement of the annual budget.
• To arrange and undertake training of the staff to ensure that a high level of competency and professional development within the department is achieve.
• To broke and renew client’s policies. In addition negotiate and deal with the Group’s suppliers in achieving these goals whilst recognising the key objectives of the Agency strategy.
• To assist in the acquisition of new clients
• Administer client’s insurance portfolio following agreed procedures.
• Ensure renewals are invited in advance of renewal date and that incoming post is handled on a daily basis, wherever possible.
• Ensure that all account queries are responded to within 10 working days of receipt.
• Maintain weekly Work State records and monthly Staff Attendance records
• Attend and contribute to the regular Management team meetings
• Undertake staff appraisals at least twice a year.
• Ensure that correct disciplinary procedures are adhered to when required.
• Promote all Group services to maximise cross-selling opportunities.
