| My Client a National Organisation is seeking to appoint a Contracts Officer to provide Financial and Contract Management support to the Contracts Manager and different divisions within their organisation. Main duties will be but not restricted to the following:- * Assist in the preparation of tenders, contract negotiations and management following award. * Assist in the preparation and co-ordination of annual and final reports, ensuring bookings are made and met, subcontracts/reports are completed, financial statements or budget/spend/manpower for fixed cost committed projects are met. * To assist the Contracts Manager with other contract portfolio administration, including, assisting in the creation of subcontracts and studentships and manage the subcontract schedules including ensuring timely payment of invoices are recieved. Liason with customers over contract proposals and follow up sucessful and failed contracts. Advise Managers on all aspects of tender submission and contract management. Provide data reports to Managers and and when required. prepare relevant contractual and financial reports. Input information onto the database. QA reconcilliations, timelog and other various reports. It is essential that as well as having experience in the above, you also have the following criteria: * Experience of working under pressure in an environment which is driven by the need to meet tight deadlines. * Excellent IT skills - conversant in MS Office, Word, Excel and other various database. * Experience of using Management Information Systems (MIS) for entry and retrieval. * Have excellent communication skills both verbally and written. * Experience of working as part of a team effctively. * Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads. |
