| We are looking to recruit an IT Analyst who is looking to work a 3 day week, preferably Monday, Tuesday & Friday or Monday, Thursday & Friday (21.25 hr working week). Your main responsibilities will be: • Work on Infrastructure and Application Incidents, Request for Changes and Services that have been dispatched for Local IT support (50%) • Participate in and/or project manage pilot and roll-out projects and provide support depending on skills and availability (20%) • Support the IT organization with site related (customer/ end-user) information and activities requiring site support (budgets, projects, audits) (10%) • Continuously advise the IT Manager about opportunities to improve (1) the working environment of Local IT, (2) how services are being received by the business and (3) how to increase the value to the business (5%) • Manage the acquisition and installation of new computer hardware and software (5%) • Provide support to defined sites / affiliates / countries which do not have local IT support or are using vendor support Ideally you will have the following but this is not essential: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline • Experience in supporting a large scale PC Computing environment, with WAN and LAN technology preferably in a multi-skilled helpdesk environment • Knowledge in a variety of IT technologies including but not limited to: desktops/operating systems (XP), WAN, LAN, Remote connectivity, Lotus Notes 7, Office, Netware, server technology, business applications systems (SAP), Blackberries |
