•Inputting underwriting and Terrorism file data onto system to ensure an accurate statistical basis within deadlines. Ongoing maintenance of system as required.
•Inputting Natural Catastrophe data onto sheets to ensure an accurate statistical basis within deadlines. Ongoing maintenance of sheets as required.
•Issuing invoices for new, renewed & adjusted policies
•Accurate calculation of non UK Insurance taxes
•Administering the files, risks and notes endorsements, thus enabling aggregation and avoidance of double quoting. i.e exposure log, terrorism quote log.
•Resolve Credit Control queries.
•Retrieving and presenting underwriting statistics when requested.
•Ability to QC own input.
•Assist in the calculation, organisation and distribution of information for underwriting purposes.
•Assisting Underwriters with queries on existing and expired business thus helping them to provide an efficient service to Brokers.
•Undertake, as required, other tasks which fall within the scope of the departmentUnderwriting Technician
